EdTrust was proud to be selected as one of six Tunisian startups for Afristart 2.0 — a new chapter in a mission dedicated to connecting Tunisian innovation with the African market, with Nairobi, Kenya as the destination.
Following two successful missions in Nairobi and Kinshasa as part of the first Afristart cohort, Afristart 2.0 brought together a new group of startups ready to scale beyond Tunisia's borders and make their mark on Africa's innovation landscape.

Spotlight on Tunisian Innovation
At the heart of the Nairobi mission was a dedicated Startup Showcase & Pitching Corner, giving the six Tunisian startups the opportunity to present their solutions to investors, ecosystem enablers, corporates, and potential partners from across Africa.
Through dynamic pitching sessions, the startups increased their visibility, showcased their products, and opened promising conversations around future collaborations and business partnerships with Kenyan stakeholders.

Events and Opportunities in Nairobi
As part of the mission, the cohort participated in major events including:
- Africa Forward by Bpifrance
- IPDAYS X GITS Nairobi 2026
- Silicon Savannah Startup Fair
These events provided direct access to investors, regional partners, and the wider East African startup ecosystem — exactly the kind of platform Tunisian startups need to find new markets and forge lasting partnerships.

The Bigger Mission
Afristart 2.0 is part of the Qawafel project, funded by AFD — Agence Française de Développement and implemented by Expertise France. The mission was organized by RedStart Tunisia and Seketak Solutions, in partnership with Konza Technopolis, GAK Advisory, FIE Labs, and Tunisia Export – CEPEX.
For EdTrust, Nairobi is more than an event — it is a signal of where we are headed. Our platform is built for schools across Tunisia, Africa, and the Middle East, and missions like Afristart put us in front of the partners and investors who can help us get there faster.
New markets. New opportunities. Bigger ambitions.
