As part of the Afristart mission in Nairobi, the Tunisian startup delegation had the honor of being welcomed at the Residence of the Ambassador of Tunisia to Kenya.
A huge thank you to H.E. Anouar Ben Youssef for his warm hospitality, generous welcome, and continuous support throughout this mission. It was also a great honor to meet with the Head of the Tunisian Government, H.E. Sara Zaafrani Zenzri, alongside members of the Tunisian community in Kenya.

An Evening of Meaningful Exchanges
The reception was marked by inspiring discussions around entrepreneurship, innovation, investment opportunities, and the role of Tunisians abroad in strengthening Tunisia's presence across Africa.
These exchanges highlighted the importance of collaboration between Tunisia and Kenya in creating new opportunities for startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs across the continent — and the vital role that the Tunisian diplomatic network plays in opening doors for emerging companies.

Tunisia and Kenya, Stronger Together
For EdTrust, moments like this one are a reminder that building across borders is never just a business endeavour. It is the human connections — the conversations, the shared ambitions, and the trust built over a table — that create the foundations for lasting partnerships.
Being welcomed by our Ambassador in Nairobi, and meeting the Head of Government in the same evening, was a powerful signal: Tunisia believes in its startups, and its startups believe in Africa.
