EdTrust was proud to be selected among the Tunisian startups representing the country at Web Summit Qatar 2024 — one of the world's largest technology gatherings — as part of the national delegation organized by the Ministry of Communication Technologies (MTCN).
The first Web Summit Qatar
Held in Doha from 26 to 29 February 2024, the inaugural edition of Web Summit Qatar brought together a remarkable global community: more than 15,000 participants, 1,043 startups, and over 400 investors from 113 countries. The event was opened under the patronage of Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, alongside a number of leaders, ministers, and senior officials.
Tunisia's national pavilion
The Tunisian Minister of Communication Technologies, Mr. Nizar Ben Néji, inaugurated the Tunisian pavilion dedicated to the country's startups, where teams presented their innovative products and digital solutions across fields including smart mobility, digital education technology (EdTech), smart agriculture, digital health, robotics, smart industry, and artificial intelligence.
A second pavilion brought together the partners who made the Tunisian participation possible — including Expertise France, Neoledge, Topnet, the Tunisian Foundation for Development, Cynoia, The Dot, Bitaka Group, and Ibiris.
The Minister underlined the importance of involving startups in major international events: enabling them to network, build commercial and strategic partnerships, market their digital products and solutions worldwide, and connect with investors to grow and reach new markets.

EdTrust on the global stage
Representing the EdTech category, EdTrust showcased its AI-powered platform for schools — bringing admissions, attendance, teaching, parent communication, and school operations onto one connected workspace. For us, Web Summit Qatar was a chance to put EdTrust in front of an international audience, exchange with founders and investors from around the world, and explore partnerships that help us serve schools across Tunisia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Grateful for the journey
We're grateful to the Ministry of Communication Technologies and to all the partners who made this participation possible. Representing Tunisia on a global stage like Web Summit is a milestone we're proud of — and a reminder of how much Tunisian innovation has to offer the world.
